The White Lie
The Nose Knows , But Does The Nose Know
When It's Done To Much Blow ,As This Habit Grows
The Bank Account Slows
The After Effects Show , As The Heart Slowly Goes
You'll Reap What You Sow , Could You Ever Say No
To Those Tempting Little Lines Of Snow........

It's The First Class Drug
One Hundred Bucks A Gram
Dealers Are The Modern Day Thugs
We Put Our Money In Their Hands
Corrupt Salesmen
The Dope Hits The Street
Supplying Us With Contraband
They Live In A Penthouse Suite
A Briefcase Full Of Money
Wearing A Three Piece Suit
A Handful Of Profit
Little Packages Of Toot
First You Try It
Then You Buy It
Then You Front It
Now You Owe
As The Dealers Get Rich
And Your Wallet Gets Poor
You Love It So Much
That You Need Some More
More , More- You Need To Score
Even If You Have To Front It
Even If It Makes You Poor
Cold And Shaking,
Sweating At The Same Time
Let's Do Some More
Snort Another Line
Snort It , Snort It!
Smoke It , Smoke It!
A Test Tube , A Spoon
Your Little Glass Pipe
Fill Up Your Lungs
Shorten Your Life
A Step Up The Ladder
Into The Main Line
You Need Some More Money
To Pay You Need Some More Time
More , More-You Need To Score
Even If You Have To Front It
Even If It Makes You Poor
Smoke It , Smoke It !
Shoot It , Shoot It !
So Stick That Needle
Right Into Your Vein
You've Now Got The Main Line
Right To The Brain
Or Is It The Heart
Oh ! Is That What Stopped
I Hope You Paid Your Dealer
For The Pick Of The Crop
Is There A Price To Pay
For What You Sell
You Reap What You Sow
You'll Find Out In Hell......
Cocaine Casts A Deadly Spell.........
The Pledge Of Addiction
I Pledge My Allegiance
To My Addiction To Cocaine
I Live In The United States Of America
And To The Destruction
For Which It Stands , One Nation
Under The Influence , Self Destructible
With Indigence And Addiction For All.......
The American Dream
The American Dream
Is Being Sold In Eight Balls
And Bought With No Pride
To A Gullible Society -Nationwide
This Bag Is Worth A Million Dollars
How Much Is It Worth To You
Is It Worth Your Job , Your Home , Your Family
It May Cost You Your Life
By The Time You're Through
Everything You Love
Everything You Own
Exchanged For A Degrading Disease
The Cocaine Seed Has Been Sown
(Chorus)The American Dream
A Cocaine Conspiracy
Societies Enduring Plague
An Addictive Adversary
Lying In The Bloodbath
Of A Self Inflicted Debt
You've Seen The Dealers Wrath
Payment Time , Did You Forget
You're Just A Payment
Within Their Hands
Looks Like Dirty Money
From Where I Stand
Our Society Says Let It Be
No Need To Dirty Their Hands
For The Sake Of Enmity
I Don't Understand
(Chorus)-
There's Bloodshed In South America
This Blood Is Shed For You
From Columbia To Chicago
They'll Kill To Get It Through
Coke Czars Run The Cartel
A Billion Dollar Enterprise
A Product To Sell
To Incorporate America's Demise
Now The Cartels Are Killing Judges
And Writing Their Own Laws
And Watching Americans Kill Themselves
With Needles , Spoons And Straws
Can We Call It A Drug War
The Enemy Being Ourselves
We Haven't Won A Battle
Buying What They Sell
Should The Cartel Run For President
As Cocaine Slowly Takes Over America
Your Addiction Is A Vote
For The Election Of Drugs
You're Just A Man
Within Their Hands
You Say You Don't Have A Problem
I Still Don't Understand

And Bought With No Pride

The Tragic Tale Of The Titanic
Part 1 - A SHIP BUILDERS DREAM
Born In Belfast , A Luxurious Liner
A Concept Of Confidence , To Satisfy Her Designers
Hundreds Of Hammers Riveting 2 Overlapping Plates
A Ship Yard Full Of Men In The Year 1908
Harland And Wolff In Partnership With The White Line
Would Create 3 Ships To Astonish Mankind
The Olympic , The Titanic Also The Britannic
Sisters Of The Sea , Tons Of Gigantic
A Ship Builders Dream.....
1987
Part 2 - UNSINKABLE
It's Twelfth Year Of The Twentieth Century
In Awe People Stare At Her Sight
She's The Largest Ship In History
The Transatlantic Crossing , Her Maiden Flight
I Listen In Awe , A Statement In Vein
For He Who Gives Life Could Easily Take It Away
"Not Even God Could Sink This Ship"
Blasphemy Poured Onto The Ships Deck
Blood Upon Her Anchors , Over 2000 Passengers
Yet , Not A Prayer Could Save Her
It's Such A Clear Night Upon The Calm Moonlight Sea
Titanic Sails Onward To Meet Her Tragic Destiny
We Move On , Deeper Into The Night
Introduced To An Icy Sea
Her Iron Walls Can Withstand The Force Of Any Powers That Be.....
Iceberg Sighted , News Relayed , Immediate Reaction , Engines Delayed
The Ships Wheel Revolves Hard A Starboard
Slicing Iron , A Frozen Sword , A Few Hours Later , The Oceans Floor
With Violent Affection A Ton Of Ice Comes Crashing Upon The Ships Deck
Passengers Know Not The True Oppression Of The Hours That Lie Ahead.....
An Obscure Consequence Lies Below The Water Line
Ignorance Of The Imminence , Some Passengers Still Wine And Dine
Others Lie Fast Asleep Unaware Of The Fatal Wound
An Invitation To The Deep , To Rest In Peace Within Her Ruin
Women And Children First , Keep Loading The Lifeboats
As The Captain Knows The Worst , Perhaps 2 Hours Afloat
Lifeboats Leaving Half Full , The Officers Are Trying To
Persuade The Passengers To Save Their Own Lives
Women and Children First
Father Stays Behind To Die Without His Wife
As The Slant In The Deck Grows , So Does The Number
Of The People Filling The Lifeboats , And As The Statistics Show
It Was First Class First , But Who Was Last , The President Of The
White Star Line Didn't Take A Pass
Now The Title On The Titanic's Bow Slips Below The Water Line
Most Of The Lifeboats Are Now Gone , The Remainder Of People
On An Upward Climb , Upward To The Stern ,Then Nowhere To Go
The Only Place Left , The Icy Water Below
Distress Weighs Heavily As The End Draws Near
1500 People Sharing Little Time , 1500 People Sharing Fear
Now As The Stern Lifts Itself Out Of The Ocean
Lives Into The Water Poured , A Travesty Of Commotion
People Jumping Overboard
Had The Sea Lost It's Sanity , This Is The Unsinkable Ship
Taking A Slice Of Humanity , We Watch The Titanic Split
Within Moments The Titanic Slips Away
Disappearing Beneath The Still , Yet Icy Waters.....
1500 Souls Lost Upon This Night , Was This An Act Of God ?
Or Was It Man's Own Slaughter ?
Does The Answer Lie Below The Surface ?
Or Is It Written Upon The Faces Of The Wailing Survivors ?
1987
Part 3 - THE TITANIC
A Teardrop In The Ocean
Reflects No Shown Emotion
Water With No Mercy
In A Frozen Desert
A Land Without A Shore
A Cry To Be Ignored
Eleven Stories Tall
To An Iceberg She Would Fall
A Disaster At Sea ,
It's History To Me
The Atlantic
Deep , Cold And Starved
The Titanic
The Maiden To Be Scarred
The Captain Of This Slaughter
And The Party On Board
Knew Not The Angry Waters
To Take More Than They Could Afford
The Unsinkable Queen
On This Voyage Her First
Now Lies Deceased
The Ocean , It's Thirst.....
1982
Part 4 - REQUIEM
Deep In The Confines Of My Mind
Even As I Slumber
I Travel Through A Darkened Hallway Of Water
For I'm Trying To Reach Her
I'm On A Shore That Lies Beneath The Surface
Miles Lie Between
The Sorrow Within My Dreams
My Never Ending Love
For The Oceans Most Sought After Queen
Tears Of Depth , The Depth Of My Tears
Shed For My Sister Of The Sea
So Long Ago , She Sunk In Her Despair
Miles Below , Way Down There
Who Visits Her Watery Grave
Who Remembers Her Majestic Sight
Skeletal Remains , Years Passed Away
Unseen Souls Remember This Night
Icicles Of Rust
Shroud Her Once Majestic Spectacle
A Maritime Mansion
A Now Corroding Vessel
My Heart Swells With Sorrow
As I Bid Her Farewell
I've Deep Lament For My Sister
And Every Soul That Perished With Her
Deep In The Confines Of My Mind
Even As I Slumber.....
I Hear A Bell In Belfast Chime
I Feel The Passion Within The Thunders Roll
This Is A Requiem For The Maiden Titanic
A Legend That Never Grows Old.....
.....As I Awoke In 1912 , I Was A Peasant
Hammering Rivets In The Belfast
Shipyard Of Harland And Wolff.....

MORE LEFTOVERTURE
The Words I've Written Down
Came From Deep Within My Heart
A Melody , A Rhyme
Perhaps A Work Of Art
Deep Thoughts Within My Mind
These Words , I Long To Share
Join Me On A Journey Through Time
Walk With Me If You Dare
Share With Me Your Dreams
As I Shall Share My Memories
And I Shall Share With Thee
The Path To An Enlightened Destiny

ASHAMED
All I Once Possessed
A Vast Desert Of Nothingness
I'll Ignore Your Prejudice
And For My Silence I May Be Blessed
Fool Was I To Think Anyone Cared
Yesterday Haunts Me
And Tomorrow Curses Me
Just Look Into My Eyes
You'll See That I'm Scared
The Pain Is Within Me
Would My Conscience Ever Let Me Be Free ?
On The Surface I Was Strong
Yet My Spirit Was Fragile And Broken
The Face I Wear Is Long
For My Feelings Were Left Unspoken
All I've Lost In Life Has Caused Me Hurt And Pain
The Sands Of Time Has Finally Caught Up With Me
And There's No One But Me To Blame
So I'll Now Speak The Truth , I'm Ashamed.....

MY BROKEN THOUGHTS
......My Moments Of Genius Come And Go
I Try To Be Cool , Calm And Collective
And Although I May Be Growing Old
My True Feelings Will Always Show
For My Personality Is Always Being Perfected
Perhaps My Moments Of Genius Are Being Neglected.....
......Let's Ride On The Wind
Forget The World Below
And Find An Answer
To The Question
That Nobody Knows.....
......The Only People Who Fail Are Those Who Never Try......
......I've Lost My Peace Of Mind
I Like It Better When I'm All Alone
My Loneliness Is By Design
When I'm Really Afraid
I Won't Even Answer My Phone......
......My Words Can't Express The Emotions
That I Now Feel
I Long For The Day She Comes For Me
Don't Leave Me Now
I've Never Hid My Emotions From You
I Stood By You......
........ I've Been Lost Within My Darkness
For Some Time Now
Because Society Has Rejected Me
It Seems They Didn't Like My Appearance......
Wow! Very moving. I'm glad Jim taught me moderation...and now I just don't even know where to get it lol...you are right the cost is too much so why go down that road? It is a white lie!
